UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel strip, also known as 2205 stainless steel strip. It is also called EN 1.4462 strip.
It also comprises of granular structures. It has yield strength of 450N/mm2 and a high tensile strength of 620 MPa and is known to have an excellent resistance to corrosion.
This UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel strip boasts of superior toughness and ductility.
This feature enables engineers and designers to reduce weight when designing related products, making this strip more cost-effective than 316L stainless steel strip and 317L stainless steel strip.
This strip is especially suitable for the temperature range of from -50°F to +600°F.
Strength
The UNS S32750 duplex stainless steel strip is much stronger than most of the stainless steel alloys. Its high strength enables it to withstand a high physical trauma and bear a high weight. However, the UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel strip possesses a higher strength amount. In case you are in need of a stainless steel strip alloy suitable for high impact and high stress projects, then the UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel strip will be a perfect choice.
